The Free Range English app contains an adapted voice recording tool. It is designed to improve and personalize learners real face-to-face speaking practice. You can schedule repeat listenings that create a feedback loop and give your brain useful and interesting information about how you speak. This will help you to self-correct, naturally.

You can use this app in one of our taught classes or on your own. To use it on your own you will find it useful to use some of our self-study course materials which can be purchased as downloads from the English Out There website. They come with full instructions.

You must prepare properly before you practice then speak with fluent English speakers (three are ideal) and use the app to help you to improve your English quickly and without extra effort. After each session you will be able to feel and hear your own improvement.

In the app:
Learning Tools - voice learning tool designed to improve your speaking skills fast
Lesson Booking Engine - book our street English practice classes for free then Pay What You Want at the end. Pay your teacher based upon what you think the lesson was worth to you, what other lessons cost or simply what you can afford, because we don’t want to exclude anyone for financial reasons.
Current Locations - London (more soon hopefully)
Evidence of Learning - Before and after recordings of real learners who have studied with us in this way
Feedback - tell us what you think

Free Range English is an English school that has no school premises and uses no classrooms and is based upon a different business model where the teachers keep virtually all of the money. All lessons start in public places (similar to city walking tours) and involve the use of cafés and quiet public spaces (museums, galleries, art centres etc.) for language input using unique social learning content shared to smartphones and tablets.

Learners then speak to friendly members of the public to practise the language they have just studied. The school encourages some specific use of handheld technology to improve language learning outcomes considerably when combined with the right kind of experience guiding learning content (provided by English Out There).

We look forward to helping you to speak English with more confidence and fluency!
